What a lovely day to NOT be in sweltering L.A. It was cool, breezy and lovely yesterday at the water where we visited the sweet Cabrillo Marine Aquarium (which is a bit redundant, no?). Rye dug the fish, the starfish, and the "stuff." "Go over 'dere, see stuff?" he kept asking. He made a stab at pronouncing "anemone." We played the matching game where you see a fish in the tank and look for its picture on the card. He saw big fish gulping down little fish. He enjoyed touching the bat starfish, but he would not touch the sea urchins with any amount of coaxing.As a bonus, we got to watch a container ship coming into port, which Rye was very interested in.
